I took Barissimo’s brand and extended their coffee line to also include cold brew and matcha while also making their packaging sustainable and eco-friendly. Their products are designed to entertain consumers with different scenes of sunrise, sunset, and night sky incorporated with interesting movement of linework so it keeps the consumer’s eyes from laying flat on Barissimo’s products.
The goal of this project was to keep consumers happy with Barissimo’s brand, their packaging, and keeping the environment in mind. Hypothetically the coffee packaging would be made out of Polylactide, which is a bio-based compostable material, it uses 65% less energy than conventional plastics and generates 68% fewer greenhouse gases. The matcha container would be made from recycled metal while the cold brew bottle would be made from flax fibers which contain bio-based resins to produce 80% less pollution than normal glass fibers. All labels would be printed on uncoated recyclable stickers using natural resin adhesives.
